Former Chief Justice M Tafazzal Islam

Birth and lineage: Former Chief Justice Barrister M Tafazzal Islam was born on 8 February 1943 in Lalpur village of Titas upazila. His father was the late Mamtajuddin Ahmed who retired in 1975 as Superintendent of Police (SP).

Dr. MR Khan

Birth and lineage identity: Renowned academician and profound scholar. Mojibur Rahman Khan was born in a traditional Muslim family in the village of Narandia in Titas upazila in 1925 BS. His father's name was Maulvi Abdur Rashid Khan and his grandfather was late Kalimuddin Munshi. Munshi Kalimuddin was a prominent camel and a man of spiritual knowledge. Maulvi Abdur Rashid Khan was also a worthy successor of his father. The series said. MR Khan has also kept the glory of the Khan dynasty intact due to his extraordinary talent and pursuit. Although his ancestors were of Munshi descent, his grandmother's surname is now better known as Khan.

MA Latif Sarkar

Birth and lineage: MA Latif Sarkar, the shining star of the political arena of the then Daudkandi (now Titas) Upazila, was born on 25 December 1910 at the traditional Sarkar House in Ziarkandi village of Titas Upazila. His father's name was Alhaj Aftab Uddin Sarkar. All the members of this aristocratic family are highly educated and well-established.

Mahbubul Haque Dolan

Birth and lineage: Mahbubul Haque Dolan, a renowned student leader involved in politics, was born in 1943 at the traditional Sikdar house in Kalaigobindapur, Balrampur Union, Titas Upazila. His father, the late Md. Rakibul Haque Sikder, was the Deputy Secretary. Following in the footsteps of his father, who had a glorious education, Mahbubul Haque Dolan obtained an Honors degree in English and an MA in Journalism from the renowned Dhaka University, Oxford, East.

Dr. Mohammad Abdul Latif

Birth and lineage identity ঃ prominent academician. Mohammad Abdul Latif was born in 1924 in the traditional Sikdar house at Kalaigobindapur in Balrampur union of Titas upazila. His father's name was the late Maui Ali Haider.

Dr. Rakib Uddin Ahmed
Birth and lineage identity: extraordinary personality and glorious education life. Rakibuddin Ahmed was born in 1904 in a traditional Muslim family of Batakandi village in Jagatpur union of Titas upazila. His father's name was Nazumuddin Sarkar.

Birth and family identity ঃ Prominent scientists, academics and researchers. Abdus Salam Bhuiyan was born on 4 January 1948 in a respectable Muslim family in the traditional village of Jagatpur in the Jagatpur Union of Titas Upazila. His father's name was Talebur Rahman Bhuiyan, a devout man and a government official.

Birth and lineage: Retired Chief Engineer of Roads and Urban Development Department Md. Ataur Rahman Sarkar was born in 1937 in a rich, well-educated and well-to-do Muslim family in the traditional village of Ziarkandi in Ziarkandi Union of Titas Upazila. His father's name was Hafiz Uddin Sarkar.

Birth and lineage: The heroic freedom fighter Lt. Col. (Retd.) Md. Monowar Hossain Bir Bikram was born on 11 November 1952 in the village of Kalaigobindapur in Balrampur Union of Titas Upazila in a traditional Sikdar house in an aristocratic Muslim family. His father's name was AK Murshid Ahmed.
